Amber Parker grew up near St. Louis, Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Milligan College in East Tennessee. She went on to attend graduate school at Savannah College of Art and Design receiving her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Photography. Her work consists of documentary style photography that focuses on ironies within a place or culture. Her current work The Artificial Experience, focuses on Amber’s fascination with the artificial and faux exotic of theme parks being accepted as “real” experience. She currently resides and works in Beijing, China.
